What do I feed it?
Your finished manuscripts, or a series bible if you keep one. Either works. It reads what you give it and builds the inventory from there.
What exactly is the Canon Ledger?
A record of every fact your books locked in: names, timelines, world rules, who knows what. It travels with every brief, so the spinoff stays consistent with the originals without you rereading them.
Does it work for any genre?
Yes. Romance series, cozy universes, fantasy worlds, thriller casts. If the series has characters, threads and a world, there are spinoffs in it.
Do I need Claude for Chrome?
Only for the live market check inside /spinoff-map, and it falls back to built-in knowledge, clearly labeled, if Chrome is not connected. Everything else runs without it.
What happens after the brief?
You outline and write it however you normally do. The brief includes a handoff block formatted to drop into your planning tool, and if you use Story Engine, it pastes straight in.
