Plugin Licensing

Every Niche Raiders plugin comes with a clear, simple license. Most plugins give you two options, Personal Use and Extended Use, so you can pick the one that fits how you plan to use it. A few are Personal Use only, and those are listed below. Here is exactly what each one covers, in plain language.

The short version

Personal Use lets you use the plugin for your own author business: your own books, your own marketing, your own catalog.

Extended Use includes everything in Personal Use, plus the right to sell what you create to other people, as a product or a paid service.

On either license, you can never resell or share the plugin itself. You sell the work you make with it, not the tool.

Your own books are always yours

This trips people up, so we will say it plainly: on either license, writing, publishing, and selling your own books under your own name or pen name is exactly what the plugin is for. There is no limit on that.

The only thing Extended Use adds is permission to create work that other people pay you for.

What neither license allows

To protect the plugin for everyone, both licenses draw the same line:

  • You may not resell, share, give away, or redistribute the plugin itself, its skill files, prompt files, or reference files.
  • You may not repackage the plugin or its prompts and templates as your own tool, plugin, template, or product, or as anything that works as a substitute for it.
  • You may not remove or alter the license, the branding, or the copyright notices.

In short: you can sell what the plugin helps you make. You cannot sell the plugin, or how it works.

Which plugins offer Extended Use

Extended Use is available on these plugins:

  • Launch Pad
  • Magnet Maker
  • Novella Factory
  • Page One
  • ProEdit

You will see the choice right on each plugin's product page at checkout, so you can pick Personal or Extended before you buy.

Where Extended Use is not offered

Story Engine is Personal Use only, and that applies wherever it appears. On its own, inside a bundle, and on every individual Story Loot genre kit.

You can write and sell as many of your own books as you like in all 40+ genres, under any pen name, with no limits and nothing owed. What is not included is the right to produce work that other people pay you for.

Extended Use on the bundles

Every bundle offers an Extended Use option at checkout, and it covers every plugin in that bundle except Story Engine.

  • The Powerhouse Bundle: Extended Use covers seven of the eight plugins. Story Engine is Personal Use.
  • The Bestseller Starter Pack: Extended Use covers Blurb Doctor and Page One. Story Engine is Personal Use.
  • The Empire Builder: Extended Use covers all four plugins.

With an Extended Use license, you could:

  • Sell genre or niche research reports built with Genre Scout.
  • Write novellas for clients or as a paid ghostwriting service with Novella Factory.
  • Write blurbs and book descriptions for other authors with Blurb Doctor.
  • Build reader magnets and signup funnels for clients with Magnet Maker.
